Fringin'hell.

The return of the 70's has brought with it the artful swish and swoosh of fringe. Personally, I am loving fringe at the moment, from fringed leather jackets to tassely suede bags and the odd pair of funky fringed shorts. Here is a small selection of my faves this season.

Tropic skincare.

Hello! Hope you're all well.
Today I am going to discuss with you the brand Tropic, and the two products I have tried, tested and fallen madly in love with.

For years, I have battled with stubborn, teenage skin and made multiple trips to the dermatologist in an attempt to find medication to clear this up. Most have failed, and those that didn't only improved my skin to a certain extent. I have spent heaps of money testing skincare products ranging from £10-£100, and each time, the betterments were only minimal.
I then stumbled across Tropic, and did research into the products and the reviews that were given, which were all singing it's praises. Tropic pride themselves by creating handmade, naturally sourced products that are solely dedicated to caring for your biggest organ; your skin.
I spent hours on end debating which of these prodigious products to purchase (every single one if I could) and through intense scrutinisation, decided on both the Radiance Clay Mask and the Tamanu Healing Balm. These two products looked the most promising in improving my skin and clearly popular amongst others, with them both winning the Pure Beauty Awards 2014.

This innovating Green Clay mask is enriched with multiple active fruit acids and minerals including Goji Berry Extracts and Guarana Seed. It unplugs clogged pores and leaves your skin feeling exceptionally clean. I saw results after the first use; my skin felt softer, my active spots were less red and inflamed and the open pores around my nose had tightened. The cold, tingling sensation helps to refresh and rejuvenate your complexion, whilst the natural scent of Olive Leaf extracts relaxes you. I use this magical face mask once to twice a week, and it automatically boosts the appearance and overall health of my skin.

The second product I purchased was the Tamanu Healing Balm. This powerful healing balm is a must-have skin saviour, which gently repairs scarred and damaged skin. With the healing powers of the Tamanu plant combined with the protection of Monoi Butter, this dreamy balm heals and calms skin instantly. You can apply this as frequently and as liberally as you please, but I tend to apply it at night, allowing my skin to soak up all of it's goodness as I sleep. The smell is delicious, and the consistency of the balm is non-messy and easy to apply.

If it is possible to have a love affair with a skincare brand, then I am as guilty as sin. I will unquestionably be buying other skincare products from Tropic and maybe even branch out to their stunning make-up collection, which looks simply dreamy. I cannot emphasise how amazing these products are, so get a brochure, get online, and get shopping!

Hello!

Hello blogging world! My name is Lauren Jeffrey, and I have joined the blogging community as The Naked Minimalist. I have been contemplating starting up a blog for a while now, and now that I have a bit more spare time, I decided to take the plunge.
Fashion and beauty has always played a huge part in my life, right back to when I was 4 years old wearing my mum's (now dreadful) sequin smothered blouses as dresses and running around the house with red lipstick on everywhere but my lips.
It is my true passion, and something I am determined to get a career into as soon as I leave education. I am constantly in awe of all the incredible fashion bloggers out there (the Beauty Crush is a favourite) and thought it would be a good idea to get me into the habit in good stead for my desired career.
I will be blogging about fashion, beauty, who inspires me, my own personal style, my beauty secrets and just general life on a day to day basis.
I hope I do not disappoint, and I hope you lovely fellow bloggers welcome me with open arms.
